Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)

 

IAU is a member of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and is a candidate for ACBSP accreditation of its business programs and for separate accreditation of its accounting program. ACBSP is a leading specialized accreditation body for business education. ACBSP’s global mission is to pursue a better tomorrow by advancing and recognizing excellence in business education through continuous improvement. ACBSP’s global vision is to see every business program of quality accredited and pursuing continuous improvement. ACBSP accredits business, accounting, and business-related programs at the associate, baccalaureate, master, and doctorate degree levels. Recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in 2001 and again in 2011, ACBSP was the first to offer specialized business accreditation at all degree levels and the first to offer certificate accreditation. ACBSP currently accredits business programs at more than 1,200 campuses in 60 countries. 

 

 

Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)

 

IAU is currently listed on the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) database of institutions accredited by recognized U.S. accrediting organizations. TRACS is a CHEA-recognized accrediting organization. To be “recognized” means that the accreditors in the database have been reviewed by CHEA or U.S. Department of Education (USDE) and meet the quality standards of the respective organizations.

 

 

 

 

Database of Accredited Postsecondary Institutions and Programs (DAPIP)

 

IAU is listed on the Database of Accredited Postsecondary Institutions and Programs (DAPIP). The accreditation database is brought to you by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE). DAPIP contains information reported to the U.S. Department of Education directly by recognized accrediting agencies and state approval agencies. The database reflects additional information as it is received from recognized accrediting agencies and state approval agencies. 

  

 

 

Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS)

 

​IAU is a member of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) having been awarded Accredited Status as a Category IV institution by the TRACS Accreditation Commission on October 26, 2020; this status is effective for a period of five (5) years. TRACS is recognized by the United States Department of Education, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).

 

 

 

California State Approving Agency for Veterans Education (CSAAVE)

 

The California State Approving Agency for Veterans Education (CSAAVE) is responsible for reviewing and approving eligible educational and training programs in California for participation in applicable U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs education benefit programs. Through this approval process, eligible institutions and programs may be evaluated for compliance with relevant requirements for veterans and other qualified beneficiaries. For IAU, information regarding CSAAVE should be presented accurately based on the institution’s current approval status and applicable program eligibility.

 

 

 

Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)

 

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), administered by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), oversees schools and educational institutions that enroll international students in the United States. SEVP works with the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) to maintain information about international students and exchange visitors and supports compliance with applicable U.S. requirements. For IAU, any statement regarding SEVP certification should reflect the institution’s current official certification status.

 

 

 

Australian Government Department of Education

 

The Australian Government Department of Education is responsible for national policies and programs across early childhood, schooling, higher education, research, and international education. Its higher-education and international-education work supports Australia’s education system, international collaboration, qualifications recognition, and student experience. Times Higher Education (THE)

 

Times Higher Education (THE) is a globally recognized organization that provides data, analysis, and rankings focused on higher education institutions and universities worldwide. THE publishes university rankings, research and academic insights, and information designed to help students, academics, institutions, and policymakers understand developments in global higher education. For IAU, any reference to THE rankings, recognition, or institutional listing should accurately reflect the university’s current official status and verified listing, if applicable.

 

 

 

World Higher Education Database (WHED)

 

The World Higher Education Database (WHED) is an international database developed by the International Association of Universities (IAU) that provides information on recognized higher-education institutions and national higher-education systems worldwide. It serves as a reference source for information about universities and other higher-education institutions, including institutional and country-level education information. For IAU, any statement regarding inclusion or recognition in WHED should accurately reflect the institution’s current official listing and status. 

 

 

 

Department of Knowledge (DOK), Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates

 

The Department of Knowledge (DOK), Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) is the government authority responsible for overseeing and supporting the education sector in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
